When you buy a terrier from us you are buying from the best line of proven GROUND working terriers in the U.S.Over twenty years experience in breeding SMALL ground working terriers. I dont know how long a person has to breed to establish a line but I think I might be getting close. I believe I have worked with one line of terriers longer than anyone in the U.S. I have been tempted to try every new terrier of the month that has come along...seen some mighty big ones get a lot of attention..but have found these trends dont last and have stuck with my original plan...BREED SMALL .So far the digging folks that own em(folks that hunt to ground) are happy and I know I am.Not planning any changes.PLEASE DONT CONTACT ME AND ASK ABOUT ANYONE ELSES TERRIERS>>I know very little about what other folks are doing and do not keep up .Its best I dont offer an opinion I MIGHT be wrong ..Jeff Rowe at Linruff Kennel in Kingsport has a good line of dogs some are my bloodline those are the only ones I need to offer opinions on.ALSO PLEASE CHECK WITH YOUR WIFE AND OK IT WITH YOUR BANKER BEFORE CONTACTING ME.... THIS WILL SAVE BOTH US LOTS OF TIME IN THE END. Not meaning to be rude but years of breeding dogs have made these kinds of statements necessary. Thank you for considering a puppy from Mason Patterdale/Fell terriers.My goal is to produce the best small ground working terriers available. I have been breeding terriers for over twenty years and most Patterdale/Fell types in the U.S. carry some Mason blood. Effective 1-1-09 male puppies will be $600 in most cases and females $700. Puppies are typically available for release to their new homes around 8 weeks of age.Each puppy will be current on shots and worming.I furnish necessary paperwork for registration with P.T.C.A. and advise you to register your puppy within a few days of purchase.You may reserve a puppy by placing a deposit of 1/2 the purchase price which will be included in the total price of the puppy.The deposit is a "good faith" action demonstrating your sincere desire to purchase a puppy from the agreed upon litter.The deposit will not be returned unless I am unable to produce you the puppy from the agreed upon litter.The placement of puppies will be based in the order I recieved deposits.I will do my best to match the puppies with the desires of the new owners. It is important for me to get as much imput from you as possable concerning this very important decision. I will specifically direct you away from making a selection based on emotion or whim.In addition I reserve the right to refuse placement of any puppy at my own discretion and would return your deposit should that happen. We prefer puppies be picked up at our kennel..However shipping can be arranged.At this time we charge $350 for shipping inside the lower 48 states.Sometimes we can use a hauler that charges between $100-150 be sure to ask about that.

The young Chocolate female on the left I sold to Phil Adams this last summer .She is another example of top quality SMALL WORKING terriers we are breeding.She is a product of my twenty years of SELECTIVE breeding Patterdale/fell types.... I'm finally getting consistant looks into my dogs after all these yrs of trying to set a type.I feel the best is yet to come.I dont use PITT OR STAFF BLOOD HERE...I breed GROUND WORKING TERRIERS

SMALL DOGS CAN GO ANYWHERE BIG DOGS ONLY WANT TOO..be SURE to ASK about chest size when you are talking to folks about Patterdale/fell types...LOTS of them have SO MUCH Pitt OR Staff blood now they could not go to ground if they wanted to.CHANCES ARE if they look like Pitts OR Staffs thats what they MIGHT be. If this TREND continues the Patterdale/fell type terrier as it was intended will be gone. I dont want to see this happen and PROMISE to resist the TREND to put STAFF & Pitt blood into my terriers. |
